Pol Espargaró is astounding everyone in his first participation in the prestigious Suzuka 8 Hours and today marked the pole after winning the Superpole this special test, in which the top 10 riders competing for the top teams after practice, setting a tiempazo of 2'06.000,
which represents the best lap ever given to Japanese track owned by Honda with a Superbike. For reference, the 2003 MotoGP pole, last year when the premier visited Suzuka, marked by Valentino Rossi with 2'06.838.
The Spaniard, who suffered a brutal fall during practice yesterday, topped by six tenths the time set by the Kawasaki Team Green, piloted by Kazuki Watanabe, during the qualifying session held traditional Superpole yesterday and beat the same team by 0.287 seconds, while former MotoGP World Champion, Casey Stoner, with Honda Musashi, finished in third place with 2'06.335. Takaya Tsuda finished fourth with Yoshimura Suzuki with 2'06.516, so we have four different manufacturers in the first four places in the type Le Mans morning departure.
Yukio Kagayama Suzuki finished fifth piloting his own team, with 2'07.990 while Moto2 rider Dominique Aegerter placed the FCC TSR Honda in sixth place with 2'08.076, despite a sharp drop in the last chicane, in This team also plays the English resident in Spain Kyle Smith. The team which plays Toni Elias, Moriwaki Toho, which ended in a creditable seventh place.
The test will begin at 04:30 hours of the night from Saturday to Sunday and can be followed live and complete through TV Channel Eurosport2 until 12:30 hours of its conclusion.

For the rest of Spanish riders, Ivan Silva in the Monster Energy Yamaha will start from 11th place and David Checa, on the Yamaha GMT94, will from the 16th. Further back are Peter Vallcaneras, with 135HP BMW, which finished 25th and Bartolome Perez Sanchez, who runs the Frontier Team and finished in 41st place.

Pol Espargaró está asombrando a todos en su primera participación en las prestigiosas 8 Horas de Suzuka y hoy marcó la pole tras imponerse en la especial Superpole de esta prueba, en la que compiten los 10 mejores pilotos de los mejores equipos tras los entrenamientos, marcando un tiempazo de 2’06.000, que supone la mejor vuelta dada nunca al trazado japonés propiedad de Honda con una Superbike. Como referencia, la pole de MotoGP de 2003, último año en el que la categoría reina visitó Suzuka, marcada por Valentino Rossi con 2’06.838.
El piloto catalán, que sufrió una brutal caída durante los entrenamientos de ayer, superó por seis décimas el tiempo establecido por la Kawasaki del Green Team, pilotada por Kazuki Watanabe, durante los entrenamientos cronometrados tradicionales celebrados ayer y en la Superpole se impuso a este mismo equipo por 0.287 segundos, mientras que el ex campeón del Mundo de MotoGP, Casey Stoner, con la Musashi Honda, finalizó en el tercer lugar, con 2’06.335. Takaya Tsuda terminó cuarto con la Yoshimura Suzuki, con 2’06.516, por lo que tenemos a cuatro fabricantes distintos en las cuatro primeras plazas de la salida tipo Le Mans de mañana.
Yukio Kagayama acabó quinto pilotando la Suzuki de su propio equipo, con 2’07.990 mientras que el piloto de Moto2, Dominique Aegerter colocó la FCC TSR Honda en sexto lugar con 2’08.076, a pesar de una fuerte caída en la última chicane, en este equipo también milita el inglés residente en España Kyle Smith. El equipo donde milita Toni Elías, el Toho Moriwaki, terminaba en una más que meritoria séptima plaza.
La prueba comenzará a las 04:30 horas de la madrugada del sábado al domingo y podrá seguirse en directo y completa a través del canal de TV Eurosport2 hasta las 12:30 horas de su conclusión.
